We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Most of the sepia/tinted images are destined to be printed in black and white, but with an eye for print sales I sometimes work in the browny colour to make them a little more than simple monochrome. Does mean there's a bit more tweaking to do (levels, curves, brightness and contrast) before sending them off to the publisher though. Glad you like it!
